10 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And this is the day!........Today is 10 years since I became painter for Corvus Belli,
a long way with a difficult start, where I bet my future on a small company from,
Cangas with only 3 employees, little relevance and very low commecial power
(These were very hard times indeed and those present them know of what I talk about)
but with great dreams and the illusion to become one of the best companies in the sector
Still remember the day I decided to became part of the project that Corvus Belli was.
When friends, family, aquientances...those whom did not believed on my dreams said
“...and you’re going to earn a living painting little toy soldiers???! It would be better
to have a proper job”
Also some of the so called “professionals” of the sector at the time did not believed I
could last long. But in the end time as give us all the answer and with hard work and
dedication I could say I am making a living out of “painting toy soldiers” . I have
achieved world wide recognition...so much so that I could “pick and choose” and
have always a busy chedule. I am very proud that all this is my own achievement,
What I got I worked hard for!!
Now some of those skeptics congratulated me while others look at my achievements
with jelousy
In these last 10 years I have worked really hard, sometimes 13-14h a day painting.
Painted during weekends and holidays. Painted while sick and also painted with
fissures in my fingers always to keep the deathlines and to keep the jobs on time.
Also I have made mistakes, who have not, but always try to learn of them and
don’t fall on them again.
The company is growing still and may become one of the most influential in the sector
Now looking at all this, the choice I made them in February 2003 looks like a good one!
I would like to say thanks to all those that follow my works via my blog, facebook and

Saludos Cordiales
Angel Giraldez
